Data Storage

WHAT WE OFFER

Customer Data Platform (CDP)

To have a unique and persistent view of our Customers we must integrate and store the history of all data sources in a Customer Database (CDP). The creation of CDP solves the problem of dispersing customer data in different systems that are not connected to each other. A CDP will allow us to better understand customers, personalize experiences and optimize business results.

Points to consider:

  • Understanding the business processes is essential for the design of the customer database.
  • Identify the relevant data to integrate in the CDP… transactional, behavioral, demographic, geographic, communication data…
  • Understand the business figures and their relationships (consumer, professional, business, wholesaler, retailer, etc…).
  • How they are created, modified or eliminated.
Group different business figures coming from different data sources as the same.
  • Implement a data prioritization policy by business figure based on business objectives.
  • Establish the GDPR and contactability policy.
  • Integrate the CDP with the rest of the organization’s systems that need customer information.

Tools: Hadoop, Spark, MySQL, Oracle, SQLServer

Integrations and Data Migrations

Identify the data we will need to achieve the objectives and establish the mechanisms to capture them through the use or development of APIs, Web Services, ETL, Forms, Scraping, Internal Data, Opendata sensors …).

Points to consider:

  • Understand the business requirements and how they relate to the data to be integrated or migrated.
  • Conduct an inventory of the data to be integrated or migrated. This includes identifying the location, format and structure of the data, as well as any dependencies between them.
  • Assess the quality of the data before migrating or integrating the data. The data must be accurate, complete, consistent and up-to-date. If the data does not meet these criteria, steps should be taken to correct it prior to migration.
  • Defining a migration and testing plan is essential to ensure that the data integration and migration process is successful.
  • Use appropriate tools for the project taking into account factors such as data volume and complexity, data location and format, as well as compatibility with other applications and systems.
  • Take steps to ensure that data is migrated and integrated securely.
